In the Education zone, Extron demonstrates its streaming and lecture capture solution with live annotation based around the SMP 351 streaming media processor + DTP Crosspoint 84 IPCP SA with the Annotator 300 and the new streaming decoder SMD 202. This is a complete integrated AV solution with lectures available not only locally in the classroom but also in remote locations – such as overflow classrooms – or even at the student’s home. Live annotations over any content type (live video or PowerPoint presentation) can be used by the teacher with a simple touchscreen to enhance the lecture both locally and remotely.
In the Corporate Communications Zone, Extron demonstrates a complete AV collaboration solution for board rooms available with both wired and wireless connectivity. The solution is designed around our new ShareLink 200 wireless collaboration gateway that allows sharing content wirelessly from any device. Combined with our TeamWork wired solution Extron can provide best of both worlds: wireless for BYOD flexibility and wired for simple and secure AV connectivity.
