Dot Origin is demonstrating the DTAG100-PRO, which is designed to enable digital signage, kiosks and point-ofsale systems to be upgraded easily to include both NFC and Bluetooth beacon technologies. This unique hardware device enables NFC tag and iBeacon data to be changed dynamically by a local system, in line with whatever is displayed on-screen, as well as providing a two-way channel for direct, local communications with a consumer’s mobile phone.
Dot Origin is also providing the visitor beacon experience for the NEC Solutions Showcase, using its new Bipzone mobile application and programmable Bluetooth beacons located in the various zones of the exhibition. The Bipzone solution will enable retailers and exhibition/event organisers to implement Bluetooth beacon campaigns without the need to develop or enhance their own mobile applications, providing a low cost, fast-track mobile engagement solution.
